Inspired by the power of water, perfume creative director Francis Kurkdjian imagined a new composition for the signature fragrance Dior Sauvage.

To immerse fully into this revolution of freshness, we created a Snapchat Lens with an AR portal, inviting you 360° into the realms of this powerful element.

Realistic AR universe

Starting off with a serene soundtrack similar to the vibe in the video campaign, the portal invites the user to step into the universe of Sauvage. A universe that reflects untamed, wild nature, its raw freshness, power and nobility.

Once the border is crossed, the user finds themselves amidst realistic roaring waterfalls, 360 degrees around them. Here, in nature’s might, you can truly feel the call of Sauvage,

From fragrance to video to augmented reality

Much like the video campaign is telling the story of the fragrance in images and sounds, this AR experience translates the atmosphere of the videos into a 360° experience. Weaving both worlds together, this AR portal takes you one step closer to the feeling that the product embodies.

The portal

Softly floating, with a subtle mist of the waterfall hitting the surface and reflection on the floor, the portal winks to take a closer look – a rewarding look with AR depth perspective, of course.


The waterfall 3D scene

The waterfalls were created as a high end 3D scene and with adding animated assets like the waterfall and a light, the immersion comes to life.
